Visages de la Résistance et de la Déportation en Vendée
S’engager, libérer, fédérer, reconstruire.
Labellisée « Chemins de mémoire » par le Ministère des Armées, cette exposition itinérante conçue par l’Association pour un Mémorial de la Résistance et de la Déportation en Vendée (AMRDV), présente, sur fond d’histoire de la Seconde Guerre mondiale et des événements qui se sont déroulés durant cette période en Vendée, des portraits d’hommes et de femmes qui se sont levés contre l’occupation nazie.
Elle préfigure un projet de mémorial porté depuis 1995 par Gaston Marceteau, résistant déporté à Buchenwald.
« Cet espace, disait-il, par nature pédagogique, entend aider à la compréhension, au souvenir, à la transmission des valeurs qui ont motivé les Résistants et rendre hommage à l’ensemble des déportés du département de la Vendée.
Il entend faire comprendre aux générations futures la tragédie de la répression nazie, développer la conscience de cette mémoire historique, sans endoctriner, en évitant la moralisation et le voyeurisme et en les laissant juger seules.
Il entend éclairer les jeunes consciences qui deviendront demain des citoyens responsables. »
Prochaine exposition prévue du 13 au 21 novembre 2023 à Luçon.
Du 24 avril au 20 mai 2023 à La Roche-sur-Yon, au CYEL Centre culturel de La Roche, 10 Rue Salvador Allende, tout d’abord, puis en parallèle à la Médiathèque, Esp. Jeannie Mazurelle, du 25 avril au 13 mai.
Du 23 août au 23 septembre 2022 à Dompierre-sur-yon.
Du 4 au 26 novembre 2021 à la Maison Billaud, Fontenay-le-Comte.
En mai 2021 au Prieuré des Sables d’Olonne.
